This is a Doctor Who dream that was so vivid I have become a recurring character...it happens a lot: the recurring character thing (not just with this one)...I'll let you read, though.
So, the 11th Doctor, Rory, and Amy were sailing through this marketplace on another planet when the Doctor gets shot from behind. Amy and Rory rush to get him to the TARDIS. The TARDIS doors open and the two get the Doctor inside.
Amy and Rory shield their eyes as the Doctor begins to regenerate, screaming at first, then going silent. Amy and Rory look at each other as the light subsides. The Doctor is lying on the floor, looking different.
"Doctor?" Amy asks, confused.
"Of course, I'm the Doctor, Pond," the Doctor says, only the voice sounds weird. "Oh my!" The Doctor stands and a button flies off the front of the shirt. The Doctor reaches up and touches the shirt. "I have...boobs?! I'm a girl! I've never been a girl. This is new. This is very new!" The 12th Doctor (in case you're wondering, I was the new Doctor) rushes through the TARDIS, Amy and Rory at her heels. She rushes into a huge closet full of clothes. She begins throwing things around.
"This is too sexy! This is not sexy enough! This is too dowdy! Why do I even have this? I think I'll save this one for a special occasion. This could work...no too steampunk. Ah! Perfect."
Amy, with her arms loaded full of clothing, stands there. "What's perfect?"
"Oh, you can drop those clothes any old place," the Doctor says.
Amy does so and stares at the voluptuous Doctor, who is wearing black boots, blue jeans, a dark green short-sleeved sweater-blouse, jewelry, and makeup.
"What do you think? Too much?" the Doctor asks her.
Amy shrugs. "I'm still trying to get used to you being a girl."
"Why did you turn into a girl?" Rory asks from beyond the closet doorway.
The Doctor grabs a knee-length black trench coat with a green butterfly on one sleeve and moves to the door. "Well, you and Amy were arguing about the perfect woman. I was thinking about the perfect woman for me. I was shot...and...voila! I am my own perfect woman, which is kind of odd, if you think about it." She pauses in front of a mirror. "I look amazing! Oh, River's not going to like this...I have better hair than her, now." she laughs.
Amy shakes her head. "I don't think that's why our daughter's not going to like this."
The Doctor looks at her. "I suppose you're right. Come along, Ponds."
The two follow her into the main room and she begins inputting coordinates.
The TARDIS fizzles and refuses to move.
"You're mad at me for being a girl, aren't you, Sexy?" The Doctor says. "I still think you are the perfect woman, but I couldn't very well turn into a TARDIS, now could I?"
The TARDIS still won't budge.
"Now, there is something evil out there that wants me dead," the Doctor says. "I suggest we at least leave."
The doors open.
"Oh, I see how it is. You want me to regenerate into a man again, huh? Well, that's not going to happen for a long time, if I can help it. I kind of am enjoying this whole feminine walk thing."
The doors close.
"That's better," she says. "I think we can go, now."
The TARDIS starts up and lands quickly.
The Doctor opens the door and closes it just as quick. "You took us to Traqualia? The gasses alone could kill the Ponds while they're in here. I demand you go where we are needed and not where you think I will die and regenerate or I will refuse to change your sparks and tend to your wiring for the next century!"
The TARDIS seems to respond to that and takes them to Earth.
River Song appears aboard the TARDIS and eyes the Doctor. "Who are you?"
"What? I'm not in your little blue book?" The Doctor asks.
"No." River draws her weapon. "I will ask you again: who are you?"
The Doctor humphs. "Put your silly weapon down, Melody Pond! I swear...you don't even know your own sweetie, apparently."
River drops her weapon unceremoniously. "Doctor?! This is so not in my blue book."
The Doctor chuckles. "So, a future encounter for both of us...sort of."
River nods.
Amy and Rory just stand there shaking their heads.
"But, you're a woman?" River asks.
The Doctor nods. "And, my hair is so shiny and red!"
River nods. "Yes, but this is awkward."
"No more awkward than most situations," the Doctor says.
