So...Jack Sparrow found the lamp (Yes, Aladdin's lamp), and I emerged as the Genie (a big blue tenor)! He looked at me and said, "What on earth are you supposed to be?"
Of course, I replied in song, but was stopped midway.
"Do you know any other songs?" He asked.
I was like, "You interrupted my song, master! I am hurt beyond words!"
He eyed me. "What are you?"
"I'm the genie of the lamp," I said.
"You're weird," he said and proceeded to look in the lamp.
"That's my home," I said.
"Do you have any rum?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"I want rum," he said.
"Is that an official wish? You only get three, you know," I said.
He nodded. "I wish for rum, an unlimited supply."
So, I gave him a jug that automatically refilled itself with the finest rum when emptied.
He drank it dry and looked inside as it refilled. He grinned at me. "That's good for now."
I sat down next to him and asked him to tell me his other wishes.
He shrugged. "All I wanted was rum."
"That's all you want?" I asked.
He nodded. "I don't need you anymore. You can go."
So, I explained how I was bound to him until he either made two more wishes or freed me from the lamp.
"Fine, you're free," he said, waving a hand.
"Is that a wish?" I asked.
He nodded. "I wish you free."
Then, the dream completely changed, and I was no longer the Genie. I was now Ella, and I was sitting on the console in the Fortress of Solitude in a sexy little black dress and red heels. Superman was eyeing me.
"What?" I asked. "If you call me on my day off, you're bound to get me dressed out of my costume."
He shook his head. "Hot date?"
I shook my head at him. "No, I was going to a club."
He sighed and pointed to a screen.
I looked and groaned. "I wanted to get my groove on tonight. Guess I'm going after bad guys instead."
He looked at my outfit again.
"I'll go change," I said, sticking my tongue out at him.
He shook his head. "Sometimes, you make me wonder if you're really as old as you say you are."
"I like to act the age I look," I said, moving out of the room. (Not sure how old Ella's supposed to be, just FYI.)
The scene morphed to me in my Ella get-up (a pair of black leggings, short black cargo shorts, a black tank, a short hot pink hooded cape-like thing, and a hot pink and black mask criss-crossing my face). Superman and I were hovering over a city (not a real one...something in my brain that was a combo platter of NYC; Greely, CO; and Austin, TX). He pointed to a group of people at a van near to a corporate building. It was the Leverage team!
"They're good guys," I said.
He nodded. "So, why were we called?"
We flew down and Eliot eyed me.
Nate looked at us. "Why are you here? Who are you?"
"I'm..."
"Yeah, you're Superman. But, I've never seen her before," Nate said.
"I'm Ella. Trouble is my game," I said with a grin, holding out a hand. (LOVED this line!)
Nate grinned back and introduced the team.
"We got a distress call for this location," I said.
"Wasn't us," Hardison said.
"I know," I said. "It was them."
Superman nodded. "But, we know you're the good guys, so they must be the bad guys."
Sophie nodded. "We're trying to infiltrate their building in order to catch the CEO in the act of embezzling."
"What's the plan?" I asked.
"I'm trying to hack into the system, but it's not working," Hardison said.
"We were about to send Parker in there to do some recon and help us get in," Nate said.
Parker peeked from around the side of the van and waved at us.
I waved back and smiled.
She came around the corner.
"We can't figure out how to get her in, though," Sophie said.
"I have an idea," I said.
Superman flew back to the Fortress of Solitude and returned with one of his daughter's old costumes. I handed it to Parker and told her to put it on in the van and come back out. She did so. I helped her make some adjustments. We (Parker, Superman, and I) went in to the corporate building and found the CEO.
"Someone's trying to rob me," he said.
I looked at his computer. Parker checked his files. Superman checked his security. We found the evidence we needed to put him away for embezzling funds from his own company.
I downloaded it, assured the CEO we would stop the thieves, and returned to the van with the evidence.
"I don't get to beat anyone up, do I?" Eliot asked me.
I shook my head. "I didn't get to, either, cowboy."
He chuckled.
We all headed back to the Fortress of Solitude, where Superman's daughter was having a temper tantrum over her missing costume. I took her aside and explained why it had to be used. She was fine with that, which surprised me a bit.
I was giving the Leverage team a tour of the Fortress, when I was woken up...
(Kinda sad it ended...)
